Why Our Dill Pickle Fries Are Famous
It started as a simple idea: what if we took our fresh-cut fries and gave them a dill pickle twist? We had no idea it would become the single most talked-about item on our menu.
The Recipe
We start with white russet potatoes from Pitt Produce, a local Ontario farm. Every batch is hand-cut and fried to golden perfection. Then we hit them with our house dill pickle seasoning, a generous drizzle of dill pickle aioli, and finish with sliced pickles on top.
The result? A salty, tangy, crispy combination that people cannot stop eating. One order is rarely enough.
From Fries to Poutine
The fries were so popular that customers started asking: "Can you make that into a poutine?" So we did. We added cheese curds and gravy to the dill pickle fries, and the Dill Pickle Poutine was born. It quickly became one of our top sellers alongside the Sausage Poutine.
